As a result, the client can manage their own family law matter with targeted professional support, paying substantially lower, fixed, fees.

How Accelerate Family Law can share the load following mediation

You and your clients have worked hard mediating an agreement with respect to parenting arrangements and/or property settlement.  Accelerate Family Law can take the stress out of formalising the agreement by finalising and processing binding Consent Orders.  Our professional preparation of the documentation required for an Application for Consent Orders ensures:

• That the matter is processed by professionals who know what the requirements are;
• That the Family Court will be less likely to query or delay the application;
• That the agreement is secured as soon as possible after mediation; and
• A cost effective way for your clients to finalise the matter.

If required, Accelerate Family Law will work with both parties provided they confirm this by way of an “Acknowledgement of Engagement”, which will be provided to your clients on request. There is then no requirement to engage the services of another lawyer and incur further costs.

Formalising Agreements – Parenting and Property

Accelerate Family Law’s services for the preparation of an Application for Consent Orders for parenting and property are similar and, if required, both can be included in the one application.   As the mediator you have been able to assist the parties in resolving their dispute – we can now take over and draft the required documents and prepare them for filing.

Accelerate Family Law charges a fixed fee to take instructions from your clients and prepare the Application for Consent Orders.  Court filing fees to paid at the time of filing the Application for Consent Orders are payable by the clients.   For an additional fixed fee, if your clients wish we can also upload the Application for Consent Orders to the Commonwealth Courts Portal

Accelerate Family Law are also able to provide independent legal advice to one or other of the clients for a fixed fee.
